Hello Sharon, I have just by chance come across your Writers Pitch info, what a wonderful idea. I am 68, live in Australia and published a book last year, an erotic murder thriller, “Stone Heart” ‘Murder by Seduction’, I have finished my second book (not published) “Stone Heart” ‘The Outback Hole’. They are about a woman named Jessica, who her and her twin sister were molested by their uncle in their early teens, they plan and murder him. later in life she is abducted and turns the tables and ends up murdering four more men. The second book, Jessica doesn’t want to murder any more, but circumstances cause her alter ego to come out, and another seven people are murdered. I would like to know when your next Writers Pitch will be receiving submissions and how do I go about it from here. I would love to send in a synopsis of both books. Kind regards, Kaye.

Hi Kaye, Great to hear from you. We’re now accepting pitches from writers all around the world, so it’s wonderful to have an Aussie interested. Due to writers’ requests, I am keeping submissions open year round. Writers Pitch Books are sent out twice a year: April and October. Check out our deadline page for the next submission closing date http://writerspitchbook.com/writers-pitch-book-submission-distribution-deadlines/

Hello again Sharon, Thank you for your reply. If I want to have my pitch read for film and publishers, do I have to put in two separate pitches for my manuscript, or does the one pitch cover both? Kind regards, Kaye.

        • Sharon Y Cobb says:

Hi Kaye, You don’t need to submit two separate pitches. Just request that I put your one pitch in the two sections: FICTION and FILM & TV RIGHTS AVAILABLE. That way agents and editors will see it in the Fiction section and Hollywood producers see it in the Film & TV Rights section. Thanks for the question. Sharon
