It’s a numbers game. All writers know that. Even if you have the best story and characters in the universe, unless lots of agents and editors know about it, it stays hidden in your file cabinet among your other brilliant work.
I’m working hard for you, my fellow writers, to get attention for your work from agents, editors and Hollywood. So today, I contacted SEVEN MORE BOOK EDITORS to invite them to receive the Spring 2012 Writers Pitch Book.
Sure…it would be a lot easier for me to just gather the hundreds of contacts I have in publishing and just blast Writers Pitch Books out there without asking if reps and buyers are interested. But, that doesn’t work. So, I ask politely first. Also, when an agent, editor or producers requests the Pitch Book, they are much more likely to receive your pitches positively.
Let’s keep our fingers and eyes crossed.
Write on, my friends.
Sharon

Dear Sharon; sorry if I seem stupid but I don’t understans the feedblitz messages.
Will I hear from you first should my book be received/requested? Please explain if you will. I’m confused. I pray for you and your family that all good things are happening for you. Your friend, Ronne
Hi Ronne, No worries. What happens is that if you’ve made comments on this website or subscribed to get updates, you should get an email with a link to new updates or comments. RSS feeds push emails to your inbox when you sign up for subscriptions to websites. I know it’s confusing unless you have something like Google Reader set up to send messages to your email address. Don’t worry about a thing. If you get a request from an agent, editor or producer, I will email you directly right away. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. Sharon
